DEPARTMENT PURPOSE:
1. To provide facility services for all programs and sites.
2. To improve and maintain all infrastructures.
3. Cost effective and efficient response to facility issues pertaining to operations.
DESCRIPTION:
Comprised of three departments:
General Maintenance:
Handles work orders for general repairs, office moves, phone
service, HVAC calls, snow removal and minor improvements.
Construction Department:
Handles demolition and improvements on plumbing, electrical,
new office construction, flooring as well as many outside
improvements such as windows, lighting, sidewalks, etc.
Housekeeping Department:
Perform the many housekeeping tasks that are required in both
office and secured facilities. Includes groundskeeping.
Responsible for 205,872 sq. feet comprising the Family Justice Center, 2 office
buildings, 2 secured facilities, and 5 group homes.
STAFF SIZE:
1 Manager, 1 Project Manager, 1 Foremen,
1 lead person, 4 General Maintenance, 2 construction, 2 onsite general, 4 grounds and
housekeeping.
