DEPARTMENT PURPOSE:
To provide centralized filing, copy, facsimile and mail services, to answer incoming calls to the Family Court and assist the public coming in for court..

DESCRIPTION

1. Maintains 5000 active social files and 50,000 closed files.
2. Searches, retrieves and returns files requested by staff, attorneys and judiciary.
3. Distributes reports for court hearings.
4. Runs over 750,000 copies for staff, faxes reports, Judicial Orders and referral information.
5. Distributes mail and posts $35,000 annually of outgoing mail.
6. Answers and directs incoming calls, provides public with docket information, contacts security/police to handle emergencies and problems.
