DEPARTMENT PURPOSE:
| To provide management oversight and administrative support to the units of Support Services. Additional services to the Family Court include: |

- Interpreter Services – Pursuant to § 476.803 R.S.Mo., it is the policy of the Family Court Division, 16th Judicial Circuit of Missouri, to provide interpreter services for juveniles with limited or no English proficiencies or speech and hearing impairments, and to provide interpreter services for the juveniles’ parents and witnesses, for all legal proceedings.

- Cell phones/pager Services – responsible for coordinating these services to those employees designated by their Director as critical to the functions of Family Court Services.

- Employee Drug Testing – coordinate the Random Drug Test Program for the Family Court and provide notification to appropriate supervisors for those randomly chosen names each month.

- Back-up Bailiff Services – provide the Family Court Judiciary with back-up bailiff services as needed, due to the assigned bailiff absences.

- Recycling – coordinate the recycling efforts for all Family Court facilities to include scheduled pick up of recyclable materials.

- Access for Individuals with Disabilities – In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and Section 213.010, 213.070 and 213.075 R.S. Mo., the Missouri Courts will take appropriate steps to ensure that communications with litigants, participants, jurors, and members of the public with disabilities are effective. No qualified individual with a disability will be excluded, by reason of such disability from participation in or be denied the benefits of the services, programs, or activities of the Missouri Courts or be subject to discrimination by the Missouri Courts, Support Services coordinates and/or furnishes appropriate auxiliary aids and services where necessary to afford an individual with a disability an equal opportunity to participate in or benefit from services, programs or activities conducted by the Family Court.
