DEPARTMENT PURPOSE
To provide supplies and services support yearly for over 2400 residents, 400 staff and 20
facilities of the Jackson County Family Court
| DESCRIPTION |
- WAREHOUSE OPERATIONS: include the purchase of office supplies, printer/fax
machine supplies, gasoline, cleaning supplies, linen, medical supplies, uniforms, automotive
parts, recreational supplies, tires, and general building supplies. Services include contracting
for printing and automotive maintenance.
- LAUNDRY SERVICE: provided 7 day a week to ensure that clean clothing and linen is
available to resident youth.
- FLEET OPERATIONS: monitors the distribution and maintenance of over 40 court vehicles.
- COURIER SERVICE: provided for business related materials between all agencies within
the Family Court, the 16th Circuit Court and offices of the Jackson County government

The Warehouse/Fleet operations executes an annual budget of over $265,000 purchases of
supplies and services. |
